To think outside the box requires knowledge of the existence of the box. But the box cannot be seen. Only those who have been challenged to give up by life, time and again, and who then have given up, taken a good look at the inner workings of their soul, arisen from their ashes, and then re-challenged life to challenge them again – it is only them who may hope to feel the box, for The Force runs strongly in them.

Dear World,
after two days and three nights, by far not enough sleep in between, at least seventy ounces of sweets, six arguments on where to put the toothbrush, two installations of OpenBSD, one broken-and-fixed-again mailserver and countless counts of swearing later, on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS AMD64 (!), for which there are no packages with Python UNO bindings (and thus no unoconv), and which only has an ancient 2.1-version of OpenOffice.org anyways, so that is Not Useful ™ either – may I present to you:

In all honesty, YEEEHAAAW!.
Now, let us celebrate with a musli bar and some metal.
Now, didn’t that feel good? And I’m so glad we can put off renting that new server for just that maybe-crucial while longer.
Thanks fly out to Dag Wieers for pointing me in the right direction and Joha for bearing with my sleep-deprivedness. In the end it was so easy.
